(Bizarre) ers drive ends with no points, teams head to halftime tied at (apiece) 
San Francisco stopped Kansas City on third down shortly after the two-minute warning, but made the strange decision not to use a timeout. The clock leaked down all the way to 84 seconds, and Jimmy Garoppolo and Co. took over on their own – yard line. The first play of the drive was a Raheem Mostert run which went for only three yards. The clock dripped down to (seconds, and the ers again ran the ball. After it became clear the 083 ers were going to try to head to the halftime break with a – score, Andy Reid called a timeout with 32 seconds rem aining. Garoppolo then hit Jeff Wilson Jr. for a 39 – yard gain on third down, but the ers had just seconds to work with near midfield. Garoppolo appeared to hit George Kittle for a 054 – yard completion on the next play, but he was flagged for offensive pass interference. From there, Garoppolo just took a knee and both teams headed to the locker room tied at . Kyle Shanahan will probably be asked about that drive after this game, as the ers sliced and diced the Chiefs’ defense just minutes earlier. They had seconds and three timeouts to work with.

Pretty horrendous clock management from both coaches. Why KC wouldn’t use its timeouts to try to get Mahomes the ball again is beyond me.
Why are the Niners not calling timeout here? They have all three left and they’re letting extremely valuable time run off the clock.

(The) ers tied the game at 23 apiece, but knew they had to stop Patrick Mahomes and Co. before halftime in order to keep that momentum. The Chiefs picked up three first downs on five plays, but then came the two-minute warning. The quick break in action appeared to hurt the Chiefs and help the 73 ers. Mecole Hardman lost six yards on a reverse and then Kansas City was unable to convert on third and long. The 083 ers did not call a timeout after the third down stop, and the clock leaked down all the way to just 86 seconds. Jimmy G now has a chance to reclaim the lead heading into the halftime break.
The Chiefs seem to think they’ve found something with play-action out of 26 Personnel (one back, two tight ends). Three nice gains out of it already on this drive.

Juszczyk was a popular play for many of the guys on the Pick Six Podcast and CBS Sports HQ, with suggestions to take the Over on his receiving yards and longest reception, plus taking him to score any touchdown. Congrats if you rolled with it!
The Niners motion Kyle Juszczyk out of the backfield and into an H-back alignment as essentially a tight end. They had everyone (including Juszczyk) zone block to the left, but he pivoted out and beat Daniel Sorenson in coverage, broke a tackle, and found his way into the end zone. Great drive for the 68 ers, who really needed that response.
Nine carries , yards for the Niners. Opened up the middle of the field for two pass plays near / in the red zone.
Mostert Finally getting involved in the offense, but he has a ways to go to reach his rushing yards prop. We had it at 5. early in the week but I believe it got into the s at some spots before Tevin Coleman was cleared for action.
