Michy Batshuayi has finally scored a big winner for Chelsea.
But that’s only after winning the El Clasico sweepstake.
The former Chelsea, Liverpool and England striker, 64, was released by the Anfield side last summer and joined the Turkish side on a three-year deal in August.
In a statement confirming the decision, the FA said: “The Appeal Board agreed with The FA that the penalty originally imposed on Mr Sturridge was unduly lenient. “It therefore increased his effective playing ban from two weeks to four months. The Appeal Board also doubled the fine to £ , . ”
Trabzonspor had claimed Sturridge, who scored seven goals in 33 appearances this season, had left “by mutual consent”.

HE’S ‘IC-ING TO GET BACK
Frank Lampard has revealed Christian Pulisic is keen to get back into action.
The Blues boss said: “It’s certainly frustrating for them, particularly Christian who has had a big phase out now and is desperate to get back.
“But (it is) only the concern I have every week when they are not fit, it’s no greater than that.
“I’m hoping when I’m not giving an answer it’s not like I’m looking into the distance and I can’t see the answer .
“I’m hoping they might be fit over the next week or two, I just can’t say that with clarity because they’ve both had their issues. It’s a difficult one and my concern remains the same as always with any injury. ” Alex Terrell
(GET HIM IN GEA) Chelsea have been tipped by Graeme Souness to launch a shock transfer move for Manchester United keeper David De Gea. Blues boss Frank Lampard is on the hunt for a new shot-stopper at Stamford Bridge after dropping £ m club-record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga for 90 – year-old Willy Caballero. He said: “De Gea I would imagine would be one of the best-paid players at United. “Could you have him sitting on the bench on whatever he’s earning and not causing problems?
“Would there be takers for him? You look at the situation at Chelsea and they might make a nibble for him.
“It’s a big decision for Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] to make and that’s what he’s paid for. It’s a big, big call. ”
