Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share 'touching' highlights of their South Africa tour – Daily Mail, Daily Mail


Royal fans have dubbedMeghan MarkleandPrince Harry‘the king and queen of our hearts’ after they shared a video of their highlights from the royal tour ofSouth Africa.

In the adorable montage uploaded to theSussex Royal Instagramaccount, the Duke, 35, and Duchess, 38, looked back at the 10 days through South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi .

Alongside the post, which has since been viewed 2, 101, 850 times, they penned: ‘Thank you to everyone who supported from afar, and those who have followed (the

‘We hope you enjoy this wrap up video to the tune of a wonderful song by The Soweto Gospel Choir, a favorite of The Duke and Duchess.’

And fans were quick to take to the comments section thanking the royals for sharing the ‘touching’ and ‘influential’ tour.

‘You two have become the king and queen of are hearts,’ enthused one. ‘This tour showed us a beautiful country and beautiful people and that we have a part to play in making the world a better place,’ while a second penned: ‘A very touching and influential tour! Thank you for sharing the journey with us. ‘

A third wrote: ‘Beautiful, beautiful people with such a spirit. Thank you for sharing this with us and allowing the world to see Southern Africa and the work being done there, ‘while a further added:

‘ Thank you for bringing joy and continuing to strive to bring people together – we could all use some love. ‘

Meanwhile, others praised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for bringing son Archie, five months, along for his first royal

The post went on to recap the Duke and Duchess’ royal engagements and explained how theyunveiled three new Queens Commonwealth Canopy projects, protecting forests and planting trees, and worked with the British Government to announce investment of £ 8m in technology and skills in the region.

It also went on to mention the Duke also traveled to Angola to focus on the ongoing mission to rid the world of landmines – following in the footsteps of the work that was pioneered by his mother, Diana.

And many commented on the choice of upbeat music to accompany the adorable highlights, too.

‘The theme song you chose for your trip video reflect what Africa is about JOY through music,’ commented one, while another wrote:
