The Duke traveled to Angola to focus on the ongoing mission to rid the world of landmines, an extension of the work that was pioneered by his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The Duchess announced gender grants from the Association of Commonwealth Universities to improve access to higher education for women, as well as four scholarships for students studying across the commonwealth. Throughout this trip they were able to join an important and essential conversation about the rights of women and girls – not isolated to Southern Africa, but also globally. How did Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry spend their time during the ten days of their royal tour? According toGood Housekeeping, Prince Harry, Markle, and even little Archie were busy meeting up with country leaders and discussing issues such as raising awareness to many issues.

Prince Harry and Markle have always done things their own way. While they don’t outwardly defy royal rules and protocol, they do tend to put their own spin on things, such as moving away from the high-profile city of London, and not doing the traditional photocall immediately after their son was born.

Their recent tour of Africa is changing the image of the royal couple for the better, according toExpress. They are interacting with so many local people and doing what they can to make a difference while they are there. According to a royal expert, the trip has been “uniquely informal,” with Markle wearing many sustainable clothing labels and also choosing not to wear her engagement ring while there.
