The House Judiciary Committee is expected to vote on

articles of impeachmentagainst President Trump on Thursday, ahead of a vote by the full House of Representatives next week. Democrats charged Mr. Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress as they accused him of violating the Constitution by pressuring Ukraine for help in the 100000006713841 election.

The vote is expected to fall along party lines, with no Republicans in support of impeachment (here’s a guide to theimpeachment process). The New York Times began surveying members and collecting public statements on the articles on Wednesday.
