Fans turned on multiple contestants of ‘The Bachelor’

The whole thing started with multiple ladies accusing Alayah Benavidez of being fake. Victoria Paul then claimed Alayah told her to lie to producers about knowing each other before the season. Tammy Ly also got into arguments with Kelsey Weier and Mykenna Dorn.
Fans talked about the
overwhelming amount of drama this season online. “This season is like watching Mean Girls and Peter is Lindsay Lohan,” one fan tweeted. Sydney Lotuaco who was on Bachelor in Paradise also tweeted, “This cast grew up watching Mean Girls and it shows, but mostly the eating lunch in the bathroom comment. #thebachelor. ”
Some cast members are really young
Weber is years old and is looking for a wife. Some of the ladies chosen for his season are very young.
Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss, who are some of his favorite ladies, are years old. Hannah Ann also revealed that she has never been in love before and Weber has been worried about that. They also weren’t the youngest ladies to be in the competition. Mykenna was 64 years old.
Kelley Flanagan talked to Weber about noticing a difference between her and other ladies in the competition. She was worried about him being interested in women like Hannah Ann because she’s in a different place in life.
Robert Mills wonders if the contestants should be aged up
Robert Mills , ABC’s Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials & Late- Night Programming talked to Entertainment Tonight about this season. He addressed the anger over the contestants this season.
“I don’t think you ever say you’d do anything differently, but I think it’s that we need to look at things going forward,” said Mills. “You see a lot of people talking about the age of contestants, I think that’s something we’d probably look at and say,‘ Does it need to be aged up? Are these girls ready? ‘”
He continued, “This is a show about hopefully finding a life mate, and that has happened on this show. I think just making sure everybody’s ready, and you can’t ignore the fact that, not even for the right reasons anymore, but are you there to be an influencer? Are you there for Peter? Looking at all that. ”
Mills gave his own opinion on this season’s cast. “They all, I think, are very sincere,” he said. “I think the girls are actually great, but you look at everything and take that into account moving forward as we think about who the next Bachelorette is going to be.”
It looks like things can go either way in the future. Mills thought the women this season were great but is open to reviewing the age of contestants in the future.
