AMANDA Holden’s youngest daughter caused confusion after claiming Simon Cowell had split from his partner Lauren Silverman.
Hollie, 8, made the suggestion in the most public way possible – during an Instagram live stream to her mum’s 1.4 million followers.

The BGT judge, who pressed her Golden Buzzer for mother-daughter duo Honey and Sammy at the weekend, said: “I did play the album to Simon because Simon was very kind and he invited me to come and sing on Britain’s Got Talent live shows, which I still will do whenever that is.
“But I thought I’ll take it round and have a cup of tea and see what he thinks. I don’t know why I did that – it was one of the most nerve-wracking things I have ever done in the whole of my life.

Amanda then moved on to talk about how Lauren recently sent her some pictures of her and Simon cooking during lockdown when Hollie interrupted to ask: “I thought they broke up?”
A clearly stunned Amanda replied: “Simon and Lauren?” to which Hollie said: “Yeah.”
Amanda quickly told her: “Don’t be stupid” as the conversation moved on.
We went to Hollie’s spokesperson – mum Amanda – for a comment and she just blew a raspberry.

A spokesperson for Simon told MailOnline: “Simon and Lauren are very much still together and are in lockdown together in California.”
Simon, , and Lauren, , who became a couple in 2020, have been spotted running errands together as well as entertaining their son Eric, 6.

Simon previously said being in a stable relationship with Lauren and looking after Eric has made life much more fulfilling.
He told the Daily Star : “Eric is absolutely incredible and so funny. It [being a father] is the best thing that ever happened to me. ”
