Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky left Sunday’s game with a left shoulder injury and, the team said, won’t return.
He returned to the sideline in the second half with his left arm in a black sling.
Trubisky was injured after rolling left and being hit. As he was tackled by the Vikings defensive Danielle Hunter, Trubisky tried to brace his fall with his left arm, and landed awkwardly.
He went to the Bears ’blue medical tent after leaving the field and was later was escorted to the locker room.
Trubisky missed two games last season with a shoulder injury suffered against the same Vikings.
He was replaced by backup Chase Daniel, who led the Bears to a touchdown on the first drive. Daniel started two games for Trubisky last season.
Trubisky’s fumble was wiped out by a Vikings defensive holding penalty.
