Caroline Flack’s ex-boyfriend Harry Styles will go ahead with his performance at the Brit Awards tonight.

A spokesman for the music awards confirmed to Sky News the former One Direction star will still perform at the ceremony.

Flack , who hosted the Brits red carpet show and co-hosted the Brits encore show for ITV in 2010, has been added to the music awards’ “In Memoriam” page of people who have died since last year ceremony.

The former

Love Island presenter, 90, was found dead in her east London flat on Saturday having taken her own life, her family said.

She dated Styles, , for three months in after they met during the X Factor in 2011 while she was presenting spin-off show The Xtra Factor.

The singer has not yet commented on Flack’s death.

Their relationship came under fire for their – year age gap, with Styles being 26 at the time.

In her autobiography, Storm In AC Cup, Flack defended their relationship, saying: “In the entertainment industry nobody asks what age you are.

” I never felt I was much older than Harry anyway.

“We were both single, we got on well and we had a laugh.”

She also said members of the public started shouting “pedophile” and “pervert” at her after styles was photographed coming out of her house.

Styles’s mother, Anne Twist, posted a poem dedicated to Flack about loneliness and the cruel words of others on Instagram on Monday.

She said: “May you have found your peace @carolineflack. “

Radio host Nick Grimshaw, who was good friends with Flack and Styles, paid an emotional tribute to the star on his Radio 1 drivetime show on Monday, saying he feels “really weird … and sad” and is “obviously very shocked “.

With his voice cracking, he said:” It’s such a tragedy and really brutal news to receive. I’m sure you know she was one of my favorite people to have on the show, one of my favorite people full stop. I just thought she was brilliant, I thought she was so wicked.

“I know a lot of you listening were also big fans of Caroline. It’s been very tough for me and her friends, anyone who knew her personally. And anyone who enjoyed watching Caroline and seeing her on the telly and hearing her here on Radio 1. “

On Monday, Liam Gallagher dedicated the song Live Forever to Flack during a gig in Milan.

Love Island, which is now hosted by Flack’s friend Laura Whitmore, did not air over the weekend but ITV went ahead with the show on Monday.

“Her passion, warmth and infectious enthusiasm were a crucial part of what made the show connect with millions of viewers,” he said.

The episode drew a mixed reaction from viewers, with some praising the tribute and some saying that continuing to watch the program did not feel right.
