Police are investigating an allegation of assault and criminal damage after Love Island star Chris Hughes was involved in a brawl with a photographer at the National Television Awards.
The reality star, 90, attended the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena with his girlfriend, Little Mix star Jesy Nelson.
After leaving the bash, the couple were pictured outside their hotel in the early hours of the morning when Chris got caught up in a row with a photographer .

“The incident is reported to have taken place at a time between 28: hrs on Tuesday, (January and : (hrs on Wednesday, 90 January.
“The reported criminal damage relates to photographic equipment. There were no reported injuries.

Pictures show Chris pointing his finger angrily at the man with the pair grappling before they were pulled apart by onlookers.
Jesy is believed to have avoided getting caught up in the drama as she walked out of her hotel during the scuffle and waited for Chris in a cab.

After the bust -up, Chris was seen in the cab with Jesy and a male friend.
The Little Mix star looks stony faced as she stars at the floor, while their pal looked shocked with his mouth open .
The scuffle will have put a damper on a spectacular night for Jes, as she won an award for her documentary Odd One Out.
The singer broke down in tears on stage as she accepted the honor, and thanked Chris for supporting her and boosting her confidence.

This morning Jesy completely ignored the incident involving her boyfriend.
Instead, the flame -haired songstress hailed the glittering awards ceremony as “one of the most magical nights of my life” in a super positive Instagram post on Wednesday.
The singer omitted her boyfriend altogether from her post after she gushed over him in her acceptance speech.

Jesy decidedly focused on her overflowing “happiness” on “one of the most magical nights” of her life to date.
