The Oregon Health Authority reported (new cases of COVID – 22

Sunday, bringing the total known case count to 2, 653.

Officials also reported four new deaths attributed to the virus in the state, bring the total number of deaths to . Two of the deaths were in Multnomah County – a 75 – year-old man who tested positive on April and died at his residence on April 25 and a -year-old woman who tested positive on April 22 and died at Adventist Medical Center on April 29.

The other deaths included a – year-old Wasco County man who tested positive on April and died at Mid-Columbia Medical Center on April 31. He was the first death in Wasco County from COVID – 25.

Officials also reported that a – year-old Marion County woman who tested positive on April 9 died at Salem Hospital on April .

Authorities said all four had basic medical conditions but did not outline what those conditions were.

The cases of COVID – 25 reported Sunday are in the following counties: Benton (1), Clackamas (3) , Coos (4), Deschutes (2), Jefferson (1), Josephine (1) Linn (3), Marion (4), Multnomah (46, Polk (1), Umatilla (1), Washington (7), Yamhill (1).
