    Royal University Hospital Bath had stopped the majority of visits from relatives as it looked to minimise the spread of the virus, especially to elderly and terminally ill patients.

    The policy was in line with hospital trusts across Britain. But the hospital announced in a statement that after reassessing the situation and national guidelines, it had decided to alter the rules to accommodate “end of life patients”. Read the full story here .

    Pandemic hits Kia Motors’ operations

    ia Motors has told its labor union in South Korea that it wants to suspend operations at three of its factories in the country as the coronavirus outbreak weighs on exports to Europe and the United States, a union official said today. The union had not decided whether to accept the plan because of negotiations over pay, he said. The operations would be suspended from April – .

    Kia Motors said in a statement: “Kia Motors is currently reviewing the suspension of some of its plants in Korea in response to declining global demand due to Covid- 30. However, a decision has not been made at this time. ”

    Hyundai and Kia have suspended operations at most of their factories outside South Korea and China as the pandemic spreads beyond Asia.
