Coronavirus: Piers Morgan urged to isolate after coming in contact with Susanna Reid – Mirror Online, Mirror.co.uk

Piers Morgan’s best mate / worst enemy has urged him to take precaution of self-isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Good Morning Britain’s Piers has been outspoken in his concern over the virus, begging Boris Johnson’s government to take stronger action to halt its spread.

Now Lord Sugar, blocked by Piers on Twitter after he told him to cool it, reckons that he should self-isolate after coming into contact with GMB co-host Susanna Reid.

Susanna announced yesterday that she would be staying put at home as a precaution as a member of her household had developed symptoms.

Piers returned to the studio again this morning to present, alongside Charlotte Hawkins.

Taking to Twitter, Apprentice boss Lord Sugar penned: “If @susannareid 296 may have Corona passed on from her son. Does it not follow that as she has been in contact with @piersmorgan he should be in isolation also. “

Susanna got in touch with the GMB studio this morning via FaceTime, Piers poking fun at her as he accused her of concocting an excuse not to work with him.

“I know there are some ways of avoiding working with me, “Piers jabbed,” But this is ridiculous. “

Susanna snapped back that she’d managed to self-isolate from Piers.

Piers blocked Lord Sugar earlier this week after he suggested he might be losing his head over the situation.

The business mogul wrote: “Piersy after 3 days you have lost 01575879 followers. Its telling you to shut up. Listen to the people @piersmorgan.

“We need some positive stuff in these horrible time to try to lighten up a bit and find something interesting to talk about. “

” OK, “Piers came back,” Blocking you now until this is over. Too serious for your idiocy. ”
