Country singer Kylie Rae Harris has died at the age of 30 in a car crash.

Three cars were involved in the fatal road smash this afternoon, with a 16 – year-old girl also losing her life.

While police didn’t release the names of the victims, Kylie’s agent confirmed her death to Billboard.

Her rep said: “We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night.

“We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music.

“The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.”

She was on her way to play the Big Barn Music Festival in Taos on Thursday when the car crashed.

In a heartbreaking video posted just hours before she died she’d tearfully spoken about how special the area was for her.

She filmed herself in her car just before her death

She said: “Basically, literally everybody that was here passed away except for my uncle – including my dad and I’m going to cry,

“Sorry, Instagram.”

Kylie also tweeted about the road trip in one of her last posts before her death.

She posted: “Fuel range is 46 miles and I’m 36 from the nearest gas station. Dear baby Jesus please don’t let me get stranded in NM. “
