Ignore the Apocalyptic Death Stranding User Reviews

We don’t recommend looking into all this too seriously if you are still on the fence about Death Stranding. Within twenty-four hours of release, who has realistically beaten the game and experienced everything it has to offer? We’d wager next to no one given we’re talking about a 40 – hour game for the speediest of players.

While we expected Death Stranding to be divisive –the gaming press reviews attest to that vividly– there’s a sense the game is getting review bombed, because, put simply, it’s a Kojima joint.

Many take umbrage at the perceived sycophantic adulation much of the gaming community affords the Metal Gear Solid creator. Others feel excluded from all the hype due to Death Stranding’s PlayStation 4 exclusive status (at least until summer when the PC version is slated to drop).
