Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders – Live Updates from MNF in Week 1 – Mile High Report, Milehighreport.com

With theAntonio Brownfallout, theDenver Broncosare now favored in this game against theOakland Raiders. However, thesharp money is now bettingheavily in favor of the home team as the line moved to Denver’s favor in thisMonday Night Footballmatchup.

The main concern heading into the season for Denver has been its special teams play in the preseason. The Broncos added six new players after the roster deadline and most all of them were added with an emphasis on special teams play.

Special Teams Coordinator Tim McMahon was asked how those players were adjusting on Friday and he said, “It’s coming. There’s been some changes this week so with the new players we’ve been lucky. Corey [Nelson] ’s been in systems before. The guys that have come in, [Andrew] Beck he was in New England and a lot of our stuff is similar, so it’s been good. I think that we’re ready to go and we just have to keep jelling. There were some mistakes today in the situational part of it but from a protection and a return game part it’s been good. You just get into some of these situations and we have to clean some more up tomorrow. ”

Add inDiontae Spencerwho was signed after his successes in the Canadian Football League could provide a good spark in the punt return arena. We’ll just have to see how that plays out tonight.
