Dog the Bounty Hunter’s daughter Bonnie shared a message of her support to her beloved dad after he was rushed to hospital.
66 – year-old Dog – real name Duane Chapman – suffered chest pains at his Colorado home and before being taken for urgent medical treatment, with doctors deciding if he is to undergo corrective surgery, reports TMZ.
It comes just three months after Dog lost his wife Beth Chapman to cancer at the age of 51.
Following the latest health scare to hit her family, daught er Bonnie took toInstagramto post an old family photo with her parents.
It shows Bonnie as a child sitting on her dad’s lap with her late mum Beth also in the frame alongside big sister Cecily.
Offering words of encouragement to her dad, Bonnie, 20, wrote alongside it: “Love you, pops.”
Her followers responded by sending their best wishes to Bonnie and her family.
“Hope your dad is ok, we ❤️ him,” said one.
“Praying for you and your Your family needs you, “urged another.
A representative for Dog The Bounty Hunter told The Mirror:” I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep ’em coming. “
Dog’s illness is the latest health scare to effect the close family after they lost matriarch Beth Chapman to cancer in June.
After fighting the illness for two years, Beth was taken to hospital in Hawaii and spent her last days in a medically induced coma.
Her heartbroken husband Dog announced onTwitterthat Beth had died and revealed her poignant final words.
“One of the last things she said [was] ‘It’s a test of my faith’. She had faith and that was it.”
Duane, who came to fame in 2004 with his and Beth’s reality series Dog The Bounty Hunter, said her very last words were to him and her two daugthers.
“She came out of it a few times – ‘ I love you, ‘and’ Are you guys all OK? Don’t worry ‘, “he told the media before breaking down in tears.
” She never accepted it. This is totally unbelievable. “
Daughter Bonnie also paid tribute to her mum.
She wrote on Twitter: “I’d never thought I ‘d lose my mom at 20. I told her I thought she had a couple years left, but in her eyes she disagreed. “
Bonnie also shared a picture of her mum smiling
“So thankful I got you beautiful smile,” she added.
