#Software News Google Chrome v126.0.6478.114/.115 has been released, fixing 4 high-risk security vulnerabilities. Among them, the type confusion issue in the v8 engine reported by the researcher received a $20,000 bonus. There is currently no evidence that these vulnerabilities have been exploited. The stable version of Google Chrome has been updated again today. The new versions released this time are Chrome for Windows 126.0.6478.114, Chorme for Windows 126.0.6478.115 and Chrome for Windows 126.0.6478.114.

This update is a regular security update and repair version, which fixes four high-risk security vulnerabilities. However, there is currently no evidence that these vulnerabilities have been exploited by hackers, so users can simply update to the latest version.

High-risk security vulnerability: CVE-2024-6103, Use-after-Free issue in Dawn, reported by security researcher @wgslfuzz, bug bounty pending

In addition to the four high-risk vulnerabilities reported by external security researchers, Google also discovered two vulnerabilities internally and fixed them through this version. However, Google did not provide the details of these two vulnerabilities, nor did it or need to assign CVE numbers.
