Dubai: COVID-19 movement restrictions on elderly and children lifted from June 18

Dubai: Dubai Media Office announced the ease in restrictions on elderly (older than 60) and children (younger than 12) on Wednesday. The ease in restrictions will be implemented starting June 18, Thursday. The decision to open up activities for this population was taken by the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai.

The precautionary measures of wearing face masks and social distancing still apply.

Following the announcement, establishments are allowed to function to 100 per cent capacity in sectors restricted for elderly and children including swimming pools, cinemas, playground areas, water parks etc.
