AN eighteen-month-old boy has died after falling from a block of flats in North London.
The baby was found in a critical condition in Tottenham High Road and rushed to hospital after falling from the ninth floor, but medics were unable to save him.
The toddler is believed to have fallen after a window baby lock stopped working while the mum was in the kitchen.
Ozge Boran, 25, a local shop assistant, said: “The mum was cooking in the kitchen before she went to pick up her other baby.
“The window lock wasn’t working so the baby woke up, reached out for the window and just fell out from there.
“I was upset when I heard but we were thinking about the mum.”
