Enfield stabbing: Murder probe launched after woman attacked at property in north London – Evening Standard, Standard.co.uk

                                                                                          

A woman in her 40 s has died after being attacked at a property in north London.

                                                                                                                                                

Police were called to Tennyson Close,Enfield, at around 7. 30 pm on Saturday, to reports of a woman with serious injuries.

                                                                                                                                                

She was found with stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

                                                                                                                                                

A 28 – year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.

                                                                                                                                                

Police say no other suspect is being sought in connection with the death.

                                                                                                                                                

The victim and the suspect are related to one another, police said.

                                                                                                                                                

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. Her next of kin have been informed.
