    As they headed back to the away dressing room at full-time, Everton captain Coleman can be seen rowing with Liverpool supporters who were taunting him, alt hough what was said is unclear in the footage.

    It is understood that Everton feel the matter was down to raised emotions at the end of a derby defeat and there will be no internal action against either player.

    On social media, Toffees fans criticized the involvement of the duo in the row with rival fans because they hadn’t gone to applaud Everton’s own support after the final whistle had been blown.
