Four members of a British family have been admitted to an isolation unit inside a Majorca hospital after showing signs of suspected coronavirus, according to reports.
The mother, father and two daughters were rushed to Son Espases Hospital after having been in contact with one of the patients who tested positive for the deadly disease, the Majorca Daily Bulletin says .
The health centers and hospitals will be sending respiratory samples to the Microbiology Laboratory at Son Espases Hospital for testing, the site adds.
The head of Virology, Dr Jordi Reina, explained that those samples are compared to a list of respiratory viruses and if they don’t match any of them, the analysis will be sent on to the reference Laboratory in Majadahonda, Madrid.

The Ministry of Health and Consumers Affairs has appealed for calm, asking the public to have confidence in the professionals who are waiting for the test results.
The epidermic, which was first detected in December , started in Wuhan, central China, has quickly sent to over 90 countries.
