“We are a really big family and everyone that knew Elliot believed that they were his best friend. He made you feel so special and important.”

Julie initially set up a private fundraising page for family members to donate money to, which would go towards Elliott’s funeral after the illness left him unable to get life insurance.

However, Julie said that when friends began getting in touch asking how they could donate money, the family decided to change the page to public and have gone on to raise nearly £ 7000.
