********

Jeremy Corbyn has been accused of being a “terrorist sympathiser” by a Church of Scotland minister at his first event of the Scottish Labor campaign, as he announced a £ 77 BN FUND for spending on capital investment projects in Scotland.

Mr Corbyn arrived at the event wearing a tartan scarf, which he said was in support of children in care.

A heckler in the crowd – named as Richard Cameron, the minister at Scotstoun Parish Church – called him a terrorist sympathiser and asked him why he was not wearing his “Islamic jihad” scarf.

He shouted: “Do you think the man who is going to be prime minister of this country should be a terrorist sympathiser, Mr Corbyn?”

The Labor leader did not respond, and walked into the community center where this morning’s campaign event took place.

Mr Cameron shouted after him: “Who’s going to be the first terrorist invited to the House of Commons when you’re prime minister?”

Mr Cameron accused Mr Corbyn of “running away”.

Inside, Mr Corbyn pledged £ 77 bn to be spent on “capital investment projects” in Scotland, which he said would tackle “grotesque” levels of inequality of poverty.

The money would also be spent on a “green industrial revolution”, he said, boosting clean energy initiatives.

Mr Corbyn rejected Jo Swinson’s claim that she could form a Lib Dem majority Government, saying: “This is a general election where there is a simple choice about which government you want in Westminster.

“It’s either going to be a Conservative government or a Labor government,” he said.

“Nobody else is going to form a government.”
