Gigi Hadid’s mum Yolanda has confirmed news that her model daughter is expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik.
A day after it was reported Gigi was five months pregnant with the One Direction star’s baby, proud grandmother-to-be Yolanda spoke out to share her excitement.
“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press,” said The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star. “Of course we are so excited. I’m excited to become a oma [grandmother] in September especially after I lost my mom so recently.

Yolanda’s beloved mother Ans van den Herik sadly died in August last year at the age of (following a battle with cancer.
The news, published by TMZ, came after much speculation that Gigi’s the birthday bash at the weekend doubled as a gender reveal party.
The birthday girl was seen clutching helium balloons with pink and blue tape attached during the party. While pictures of aa ‘Hello Little One’ bag and pink cakes were also spotted in pictures of the party shared on social media.
In an effort to conceal the news, Gigi’s sister Bella attempted to Cover the giveaway message on the bag with a sunflower emoji but eagle-eyed fans tracked down the bag online and discovered the true meaning.

Rumors first emerged Gigi and Zayn had got their on-off relationship back on track in December, around the time the model is understood to have fallen pregnant.
The pair had split in after a string of arguments and conflicting work schedules drove them apart.
They began dating in when Gigi was asked to star in Zayn’s steamy Pillow Talk music video.
They dated for two years before splitting twice in 2020 before calling things off for good.
However, the pair sent fans into meltdown last December when rumors began circulating they were back in touch.
Gigi revealed online that she was using a recipe sent to her by Zayn’s mum.
Then a few weeks later they were spotted enjoying a cozy date night in New York City, confirming things were back on.
