A young woman has been dashed to hospital afterfallingfrom a funfair ride.
Horrified witnesses said the Airmaxxat Hull Fair had “just set off” when the woman plunged to the ground.
Humberside Policeconfirmed the woman has been rushed to hospital.
“It’s been shut and the emergency services are there. There is a lot of blood. It doesn’t look good, “said one witness.
Others say the woman” looked young ” and fell up to 10 – 15 feet.
“We saw someone fly off from a 10 / 15 ft high bouncing ride at Hull Fair whilst we were in the queue, “read one tweet.
Humberside Police’s Chief Inspector Paul Kirby, Tactical Commander for Hull Fair said: “A woman has sadly been seriously injured this evening at Hull Fair and taken to hospital by ambulance.
“We do not believe her injuries are life threatening or life changing.

“A teenage boy was struck by the woman as she fell. He thankfully only sustained minor injuries.
“We have very well established plans in place with the council for any incident like this at the fair, and I want to thank everyone for their patience while we deal with this.
“I am appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened, or who has any video footage of it to contact us.

Pictures show a heavy police and paramedic presence at the attraction.
A spokeswoman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at about (***********************************************************: 03 to reports someone had fallen from a ride.
“St John’s Ambulance provide cover at Hull Fair and so the incident was handled by them and they transported one male to Hull Royal Infirmary with minor injuries and one female to Hull Royal Infirmary with [query] multiple injuries. “
The male is a teenage boy who was on the ground and was hit by the woman as she landed on another ride. She has suffered serious injuries.
