Iain Stirling said Caroline Flack’s funeral was packed with “stories and singing songs” as they bid a tearful goodbye.
The former Love Island host took her own life at aged 116 in her north London flat on February , just weeks before she was due to stand trial for common assault.
Family and friends – including the Love Island voiceover star and his girlfriend Laura Whitmore – finally laid Caroline to rest in a private send off on Tuesday.
Also in attendance at the funeral were Caroline’s boyfriend Lewis Burton as well as her closest BFFs Mollie Grosberg and Lou Teasdale.
The comedian said tears were shed at the small service which was full of love for the late star.
Heartbroken Iain talked of sharing stories and singing songs as a loving tribute to Caroline.
He wrote: “Yesterday we said goodbye to Caroline. It was a small services filled with her friends and family. The day was Sharing stories, singing songs and of course some tears were shed. “
The television star shared his grief pangs over Carrie’s noticeably absent” infectious laugh “at the ceremony filled with her family and closest friends.
” And her infectious laugh was painfully absent. You were so loved Caz, by so many – I hope you knew that. And I hope you’re now at peace. X. “
The message was accompanied with a slider of throwback photos which they had taken over the years they had been friends.
Among the snaps, one heartwarming snap captured the sense of fun Iain and Caroline used to have while they larked about at her River Island clothing launch.
Another picture showed the bubbly duo chomping on takeaway pizza during time out from filming Love Island in sun-scorched Mallorca one summer.

Iain had even dug out a throwback selfie of the pair taken in a busy club.
