I’m A CelebritystarCaitlyn Jenner‘s close friend Sophia Hutchins has addressed relationship rumors between the pair, once and for all.
The Olympic gold medallisthas been romantically linked to the 23 – year-oldsince they first met, back in 2015.
But, speaking about whether there was something more to their friendship, the businesswoman insisted they were ‘family’.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan jumped right in, asking how she would categorise their relationship.
‘Is that the opening question?’ She replied.
‘I think I’ve described it pretty well. At the end of the day, Caitlyn and I are family. We’re great together in business and we have a great partnership, on the personal side as family, and on the business side, me managing her career and us supporting each other in whatever business ventures we’re involved in together.
When clarifying whether there was any ‘hanky panky’ between then – his words, not ours – she simply replied: ‘Oh, my God!’
Sophia was full of praise for Kris Jenner’s ex, branding her ‘one of the most selfless people’, leading Piers to ask why exactly they weren’t together.
Having none of it, she hit back: ‘Was that a real question ?! I think we have a really special relationship, and I don’t think we need to be an item to have a really special relationship. What does an item mean?
‘I am here for Caitlyn 1000 per cent, and Caitlyn is here for me 1000 per cent. The best way to describe our relationship is we’re partners in every sense of the word.
‘When it comes to work, absolutely there for each other 100 per cent. When it comes to family and our personal relationship, absolutely there for each other 100 per cent. There’s no denying that, absolutely. ’
Caitlyn and Sophia first met in 2015 through their make-up artist and hairstylist, with intense speculation over their friendship .
The businesswoman has previously shared her support of Kylie Jenner’s dad publicly during her time in the jungle.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a snap of herself and Cait for fans, adding: ‘Hey guys it’s @hutchins_sophia While @caitlynjenner is in the jungle for @imacelebrity we are all rooting her on here in the USA !! Go CAITLYN !! ’
