I’m a Celebstar Cliff Parisi, who left the jungle on Monday night , has opened up about his incredible weight loss during his time on the show.

Cliff, 59, played Minty Peterson in EastEnders and also starred in Call The Midwife, and he was a late entry to this series of I’m a Celebrity.

Despite only being in the jungle for two weeks, newly-trim Cliff said he lost a whopping stone and a half during his time on a diet of not much more than rice and beans.

“I haven’t had much to eat to be honest with you, because my stomach is this big”, he said, gesturing with his finger and thumb how small it had shrunk.

“I’ve had a bit of this, a bit of burger”, he said.

“I ‘ve lost a stone and a half in weight, it’s the beans that do it.

“I can’t do beans.

Cliff said he never wanted to eat another bean in his life

“I’m never gonna eat another bean in my life.”

He added: “It was torture.”

Cliff also revealed he had enjoyed some jacuzzi time and said “it’s just so nice to be free again”.

Cliff was evicted from the jungle camp after a public vote , becoming the third celebrity to leave.

He did not seem too sad to be out, and dashed across the bridge to meet Ant and Dec.

“I’m heartbroken, I really wanted to win,” Cliff said sarcastically, adding: “Unless you’ve done it, you have no idea.”

Cliff admitted that he had struggled to adapt with the other stars in the show.
