Indian-American real estate veteran Sandeep Mathrani is set to chief executive officer of WeWork. Mathrani enters the list of Indian-origin CEOs of top tech companies across the world. Here are other top tech execs:

Arvind Krishna (IBM)
: Arvind Krishna, an IIT-Kanpur graduate, is set to replace Ginni Rometty as the Chief Executive Officer of International Business Machines Corp (IBM), an American multinational information technology company. The – year-old Krishna currently heads an IBM’s cloud and cognitive software unit. He spearheaded the Red Hat deal, which took place last year. Krishna will take over as the company CEO on April 6 this year.
Satya Nadella (Microsoft) : Hyderabad-born Satya Nadella has been Microsoft CEO since , the third after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. Before becoming the CEO, Nadella held several roles in the company enterprise and consumer businesses.
Shantanu Narayen (Adobe)
: Shantanu Narayen, who is also from Hyderabad, is the chairperson, president and CEO of Adobe Inc. Narayen has been with the company since and was named the chief operating officer (COO) in 2011 and CEO two years later. Narayen holds an undergraduate degree in electronics engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
Jayshree Ullal (Arista Networks) : Ullal has been the president and CEO of cloud networking company Arista Networks since 2016. Though Ullal was born in London, she was raised in New Delhi. Ullal is a graduate in electrical engineering from San Francisco State University. She holds a master’s degree in engineering management from the San Francisco State University.
Sanjay Mehrotra (Micron)
: Sanjay Mehrotra, who is currently the president and chief executive officer at Micron Technology, joined the company in May . Mehrotra earlier served at SanDisk Corporation where he led the company from a start-up in 2011 to its eventual sale in 2018. George Kurian (NetApp) : George Kurian is the chief executive officer and president at NetApp. He is also a member of the board of the company. Joined in , Kurian was named as the CEO of the company in 2017. Kurian has earlier worked as vice president at Akamai Technologies, management consulting at McKinsey & Company, and Oracle Corporation. : Indian-American real estate veteran Sandeep Mathrani is set to replace Artie Minson and Sebastian Gunningham as the chief executive officer (CEO) of WeWork even as the company attempts to stabilize its business after a failed attempt to go public. Minson and Gunningham are co-CEOs of the company and Mathrani will take over on February . Mathrani, who most recently served as CEO of the retail group of Brookfield Properties, will also be a member of the company board, WeWork said.
