A mum-of-three tragically died while trying to pay for her baby son’s gravestone.

Kelly Wallerdied on December 12, just days after celebrating her 67 th birthday, but herfamily have been left overwhelmedby the incredible gesture they have received.

The 38 – year-old wasmum to – year-old Kylaand one-year-old Winnie, but had previously gave birth to a son, Vinny, who wassadly still-born.

Kelly had been paying installments to get a gravestone for Vinny but had only paid off half at the time of her death last week.

Now, her best friend Faye has said the company who were making it, Howsham Memorials, have now offered to finish it free of charge.

Faye Churchill, who were friends with Kelly since the pair were 16, said: “I can not be touched enough by this company and the wonderful gesture they have just made to us all at this heartbreaking time.

“Kelly has been saving to pay for her baby boy Vinny’s gravestone and she had paid around half of it off and this is the company who were making it.

“I had a lovely message this morning to say that they are sad that she won’t get to see it when it’s finally placed on his grave and that as a goodwill gesture at a heartbreaking time, to ensure no extra stress to her family , they would like to complete it free of charge.

“I cannot thank them en ough at such a lovely thing to do for sure. “

Kelly died suddenly after struggling with hermental healthfor the last 24 years.

Her family are nowfundraisingto give Kelly the funeral and send off she deserves.

Launching aJustGivingpage, Faye said: “Kelly had no preparation in place for her funeral and also no funds are available.

” Sadly funerals do not come cheap and it’sa cost that even between us all we are unable to fund.

“Therefore we are asking all of those who knew, loved or cared for Kelly to spare a donation towards covering these costs to give her the amazing send off she truly deserves.

“Any donation however small will be much appreciated and we are very grateful to all shares also.”

Faye also described Kelly as beautiful, bossy but extremely kind hearted.

She said: “She was beautiful, good fun with an amazing sense of humor. She was a little bossy to say the least but she had the biggest kindest heart of anyone I ever knew.

“She was affectionate and when she entered a room everyone knew about it. Once met never forgotten for sure.

“I am absolutely heartbroken losing her and I feel she has left a hole in my life that can never be filled.

“She really was amazing, she fought battles some never understood with her mental health and she Made me so very proud of her. “

Lucie Peloe also spoke about her sister always came out on top, despite all the battles she faced.

Lucie added: “She was fun bubbly and loud, she was always the one to make you laugh, she was loving and had a big personality, she was full of so much character.

“She has a good kind heart and she would try her best to please the people around her.

“She made friends so easily that once met you would never forget her.

“She fought through her battles and she always came out on top.
