Pitch report, Day 2: “The wicket is straw colored today. I think it is going to be a very good pitch to bat on. The sun beating down on it has eaten up and dried up some of the grass. 3 more than today. These divots are in places but are placed short of a length. But only if you are a quick bowler, you can land on the se areas and get something out of it, said Sunil Gavaskar and Murali Kartik.

On one of the bounciest tracks in recent times, Bangladesh were bundled out for 150 in 58 .3 overs on the opening day at the Holkar Stadium, and India ended the day at 86 for 1 in 26 overs, losing Rohit Sharma’s (6) wicket in the process.
