Iowa poll shows a tight four-way race in final weeks before the Democratic caucuses – CNN, CNN


(CNN)Iowa’s likely caucusgoers are closely divided between four top candidates just weeks out from the Democratic caucuses, a new CNN / Des Moines Register / Mediacom poll shows.

Vermont Sen.Bernie Sandersis on the rise as other top competitors hold steady or lose ground. Sanders (29, Massachusetts Sen.Elizabeth Warren(%), former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor(Pete Buttigieg( () and former Vice PresidentJoe Biden(16%) all cluster tightly at the top of the pack.

They are followed by Minnesota Sen.Amy Klobuchar(6%) and businessmanAndrew Yang(5%), while the rest of the field falls at 3% or less. Around one in eight likely caucusgoers still have no first choice, even with caucus day less than a month away. Results for the full sample of likely caucusgoers have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.
