Jenna Dewan has revealed her true thoughts on why her marriage to Channing Tatum fell apart and what she thinks of his new beau, Jessie J.

The 38 – year-old actress has published a new wellness book – Gracefully You: How To Live Your Best Life Every Day – and she has shared intimate details of her relationships and what happened with her 39 – year-old ex husband Channing .

It is the first time that Jenna has gone into details about why her marriage fell apart before announcing they had separated in April 2018.

Writing in the book, Jenna shared: “I’d come to realize the dynamic I was in wasn’t serving me nor was it serving my daughter. ”

Jenna went on to say that the relationship was turning sour and something needed to be done.

She continued: “First and foremost I had to accept the realization this isn’t working and had moved into hurting.”

Jenna, who has six -year-old daughter Everly with Channing, revealed that they decided to separate on the eve of her filming the second season of World of Dance.

They way their relationship was perceived made it difficult for her to keep the separation a secret during filming.

Jenna admitted: “The public saw Channing and I in this idealized romanticized light.

“This made things difficult for me because I like being as honest and real as I can.”

Channing’s relationship with 31 – year-old singer Jessie J also took Jenna by surprise, first reading about it while on a flight.

Jenna said that Channing had been linked to Jessie before they had divorced and she felt “blindsided” by him coupling up with The Voice UK coach.

Jenna and Channing are certainly moving on though since their break up, with Jessie posting a number of PDA-filled pics on social media, of her and Channing getting intimate.

Meanwhile, Jenna has announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend, 43 – year-old Steve Kazee, with the baby due in Spring 2020.

Jenna and Channing met on the set of Set Up and the pair were married on July 11, 2009, with Everly being born in May 2013.

They ended their marriage when they released a joint statement on April 2,
