Jose Mourinho claims he is upset about the lack of consistency from referees following Liverpool’s win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Liverpoolbeat City 3-1 at Anfield thanks to goals from Fabinho, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Bernardo Silva pulled one back for the hosts at 3-0 but it was not enough to spark a dramatic comeback.
There was controversy surrounding Fabinho’s opener as City thought they should have had a penalty before Liverpool counter-attacked and scored.
That’s what upsets me in the game, in this moment, that one weekend it’s not a penalty and next week it’s going to be a penalty

“That’s what really upsets me in the game, in this moment, that one weekend it’s not a penalty and next week it’s going to be a penalty. For me that’s the crucial point of it.
“The game was so good and there is so much to speak about the game that I think enough is enough.”
Mourinho admitsManchester Citycould have prevented Fabinho’s goal but praised the counter-attacking skills of Liverpool.

“Yeah of course [City could have prevented the goal], there’s no doubt about it, ”he added.
“ And I think everybody knows how strong Liverpool is in these situations, everybody knows how they play and the way they manage to only leave Salah and Mane in privileged positions for these transitions, everybody knows the positions they like to attack and you see the way they score both goals, the second and the third.
“City is too good to be now crying for a week about an incident, they should focus also on the game, what they could do better. ”
