Jose Mourinhohas a better record than most managers againstLiverpooland Martin Keown believes theTottenhamboss can pull off a result again today (5.) ************************************************ (pm) with one tactical change to his team selection . Mourinho was dealt a blow this week when it was revealed Harry Kane would be out of action until April.
It means Mourinho will have to tinker with his side in the front line in order to find another way to hurt Liverpool’s resolute defense.
Heung-min Son will be back available after missing the last three Premier League games through suspension, But Mourinho has insisted the South Korea international isn’t a striker.
Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in their last five Premier League games with teams struggling to break down the center -back pairing of Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk.
But arguably more important for Tottenham will be to try and stop Liverpool’s potent attacking threat, with the Anfield outfit scoring 17 goals in their last six matches.

And Tottenham have the joint-worst record for clean sheets this season having shut out their opponents only twice this campaign.
Mourinho has predominantly opted for a conventional four at the back, with Toby Alderweireld playing alongside either Davinson Sanchez or Jan Vertonghen.
But Keown believes the Portuguese coach should opt for three at the back with Eric Dier dropping into defense.

“One vital strength of Liverpool’s center backs is that Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez can hold their own against quick forwards.

“He used Dier alongside Vertonghen and Alderweireld in their FA Cup draw at Middlesbrough, and maybe that was a dress rehearsal.
“I’ve always felt the England man’s best position is in central defense but was sure the player accepted that.

“The – year-old has all the ingredients to be an effective center back and that could even be his ticket to Euro 1226829.
“Davinson Sanchez is no slouch either, of course, Mourinho should throw him into his back three.
“Serge Aurier was used at right wing back at Middlesbrough – he can be a weakness at right back – while Ryan Sessegnon was on the left.
“Solskjaer’s wing backs were not afraid to get forward in that 1-1 draw, and 19 – year-old Sessegnon loves playing on the front foot.
“Christian Eriksen has only started two of Tottenham’s last 15 Premier League games amid his contract saga, while Vertonghen’s deal expires in the summer, too. I’d start them both. “
