KATE, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William’s Irish Tour has been disrupted by a “helicopter problem”.

The start of

and Prince William’s third day in Ireland was delayed by a helicopter problem, according to the Daily Express’ royal correspondent Richard Palmer. He wrote on Twitter: “The Cambridges are running late this morning because of a problem with their helicopter in Dublin. It’s a lovely day here in Galway so far.”

The problem encountered by Kate and Prince William, the royal expert. added shortly after, was fog.

While it pushed back the start of their day packed with engagement, this unexpected delay should not change the schedule of the tail end of the royal tour to Ireland, the expert added.

On Tuesday evening, Kate and William were the guests of the British ambassador to Ireland, who hosted a reception at the Guinness Storehouse.

However, Prince William revealed he didn’t have the chance to drink a whole pint of Guinness.

The Duke and Duchess were enjoying a walk by the beautiful Howth coast when they met a group of royal fans, who asked whether they had enjoyed the local beer.

Prince William jokingly said: “I’ve had two sips so far.

“Every time [I’m about to] have a third it gets taken away from me !

“I’ll finish a pint by the time I leave.”
