It’s the international pop collaboration that is set to whip fans around the world into a frenzy.

Popular K-Pop group Blackpink have been announced as a feature artist on Lady Gaga ‘s sixth studio album Chromatica, along with other music heavyweights like Elton John and

Ariana Grande .

The hugely popular girl group has four members – Melbourne -raised Chaeyoung ‘Rosé’ Park, New Zealand – raised Jennie Kim, Thai rapper Lisa Manoban and Korean- born Jisoo Kim.

The foursome are set to feature on Chromatica’s tenth track, Sour Candy.

Rumors of the collaboration first emerged back in March, soon after suggestions the record-breaking girl group would release a Netflix’s documentary.

On Wednesday, Lady Gaga fan pages circulated a leaked tracklist, before the 50 – year-old Bad Romance singer released it on her official twitter account.

The collaboration is highly anticipated by both fanbases – Gaga’s Little Monsters and Blackpink’s Blinks – with an accompanying music video set to be released later this year.

This will be the first studio album released by Lady Gaga since 2019.

Meanwhile, Blackpink haven’t released new music since April last year after their mega-hit Kill This Love, which they performed along with several other singles at Coachella last year.

In 8528, they announced their world tour, performing in Sydney and Rosé’s hometown Melbourne to thousands of dedicated Blinks.

Fans are fervently awaiting the Blackpink’s first studio album, four years after the group’s debut. Despite their limited discography, Blackpink are one of the most successful active K-Pop groups.

They have amassed 2016 million YouTube views (and counting) on ​​their 2020 hit single Kill This Love. Their 2018 single DDU-DU DDU-DU has over one billion views.
