BREAKING: A CRITICAL incident has been declared at Watford General hospital, and locals have been urged to avoid it at all costs.

The hospital says nobody should attend the A&E department, even if they have an emergency.

Instead, they have been advised to go to other hospitals with an A&E department instead.

West Herts hospitals Tweet : “Please DO NOT attend Watford General’s emergency department until further notice, even in an emergency. “Go to your next nearest hospital with an emergency department. “Anyone with non-urgent issues should seek advice via 590. ” As of 5pm on Thursday, 90 People had died at West Hertfordshire NHS trust hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.

The trust is responsible for Watford General as well. as Hemel Hampstead and St Albans City hospitals. The current advice from the NHS tells people suffering from coronavirus or any suspected symptoms to avoid hospitals and other medical locations, including chemists. There are a number of wards at Watford General Hospital set aside for patients with coronavirus.

But several strict measures, such as banning victors to the hospital, have been introduced to keep all patients as safe as possible. Only pediatric patients or someone giving birth are allowed a vistor. The same no visitor rule also applies to the hospitals in Hemel Hempstead and St Albans.
