Love Islandhas its first meme, and it doesn’t really involve words.
Twins Eve and Jess Gale have caused some controversy since their late arrival in the villa – and not just for stealing Mike Boateng and Callum Jones in the first recoupling drama of the series.
Eve and Jess also have a pretty distracting habit ofconstantly whipping back their hair. And by constantly, we mean every few seconds.
So constantly, in fact, that Leanne Amaning was able to accurately predict what they’d be doing on their first date with her former coupling partner Mike.
During Tuesday’s episode (January Leanne was annoyed back at the villa while the twins were living it up on their dinner with Mike and Callum.

“As if they’re on a date right now,” Leanne complained. “You know when you can just tell that she’s giggling and flicking her hair round? Twisting it, twirling. It’s not that funny.”
Sure enough, Leanne’s prediction was exactly right! WhenLove Islandflashed over to the date at multiple points throughout the episode, the twins were indeed fussing with their hair.
Whether it was whipping, flipping or picking, there was a lot of hair action going on. It’s all anyone can talk about this series:
So, what the heck is going on with the twins’ hair?
We can’t help you with that one … but we can show youa photo of them from when their hair looked very different.
