Sophie Piper and Wallace Wilson were brutally dumped on Love Island tonight. After their fellow Islanders voted for them to leave.

During Friday’s episode, each of the couples had to vote for two pairs that they felt were the least compatible.

This meant that Luke M and Jess, Mike and Sophie, Luke T and Siannise and Wallace and Rebecca were all at risk of being dumped.

Viewers voted to save Luke M and Jess and Luke T and Siannise – but a twist meant they and the rest of the couples had to choose which islander out of the remaining two couples to save and who to dump.

“From the get go, I was just friends with Mike and it wouldn ‘ t have changed. To hear him say that he wanted to get to know me, there was a question there whether he was playing a game.

“It was very awkward when he picked to recouple with me over Leanne. I feel like in his mind, he did want to go backwards. Picking her, he felt he would have been going back. “
