THE alleged drug dealer arrested for supplying the tainted drugs which killed Mac Miller told pals “I’ll likely die in jail’ days after the rapper’s death, court docs allege.
Cameron James Pettit, 28, was arrested yesterday accused of selling Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriend the fentanyl-laced pills that triggered the star’s accidental overdose.

Miller – real name Malcolm James McCormick – was found dead aged 26 at his Lo s Angeles home in September last year.
Prosecutors claim Mac had asked to be given “percs”, a prescribed painkiller containing oxycodone.
Instead he was allegedly given a deadly concoction of xanax, cocaine and fentanyl – a synthetic opioid 50 times stronger than heroin .
Music star Miller died two days later after snorting the toxic drugs, it has been reported.
Pettit, of Hollywood, Los Angeles, is charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance and if convicted faces 20 years in prison, according to court docs filed yesterday.
According to the legal complaint, Pettit allegedly sent direct Instagram messages to friends which show his reaction to the rapper’s overdose death.
One text, allegedly written after Miller’s body was found, read: “I think I should probably not post anything… just to be smart.”
‘I’M GONNA GET OFF THE GRID’
Another message said: “I am not great … Most likely I will die in jail.”
Four days after the musician’s death, on September 11 last year, he is alleged to have written : “Nothing has happened yet… but it might.”
He allegedly later added to the same friend: “I’m gonna get off the grid… move to another country.”
The court docs allege that Pettit has since deleted the Instagram account which featured the messages and now uses the site under a different handle.
U.S. Atty. Nick Hanna said in a statement: “Fentanyl disguised as a genuine pharmaceutical is a killer – which is being proven every day in America.
“Drugs laced with cheap and potent fentanyl are increasingly common, and we owe it to the victims and their families to aggressively target the drug dealers that cause these overdose deaths.”

Ariana and Mac haddated for nearly two yearsand following their split said they would remain “the closest of friends”.
She led a heartbreaking tribute to the tragic star at Coachella music festival this year.
After their breakup, Ariana said: “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.
“I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years.
“Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.”
A male friend is understood to have made the emergency call from Mac’s home.
Audio from the emergency dispatch reveals they were called for a patient in cardiac arrest.

Ariana first met Mac when they recorded The Way together in 2013, andthe pop star admitted last year she had had feelings for himfor a long time before they got together Romantically.
She said: “We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other’s talent.”
In a statement released after his death the star’s family said: “Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26.
“He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time. ”
