A major search has been launched after two young boysvanishedafter being dropped off atschoolin Midlothian.

Michael and James (Jamie) O’Brien, aged 9 and 6 respectively, were dropped off for class on Carnethie Street, Rosewell around 8am this morning, Thursday November 21.

But police search teams, including dog units, are now looking for the youngsters after they failed to enter the school.

Police Scotlandare appealing for information to anyone who may be able to help locate theboys.

Michael has brown hair, is also slight in build and was wearing a dark colored coat.

Both are wearing their blue school jumpers.
