A man has been arrested following an alleged antisemitic incident on a London tube train on Friday.

British Transport Police officers attended an address in Birmingham on Saturday night.

He was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated section 5 public order offence and remains in custody.

The incident happened on a Northern Line train at around 12 pm on Friday 22 November.

A video widely circulated on social media showed passengers being harassed and being targeted with antisemitic abuse.
