Should City, as things stand, lose their next two games against Manchester United on March 8 and Burnley on March , then the Reds could claim the title against arch-rivals Everton at Goodison Park on March 21.
But if City’s game with Arsenal is confirmed for next week, then that means the Sky Blues have an extra chance to slip up and present Klopp’s side with an early opportunity of becoming Premier League champions.
