Manchester City play their rearranged Premier League fixture with West Ham tonight after the original tie was postponed.

City welcomed back Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy, who have missed recent fixtures through fitness issues, but Leroy Sane was not in the squad. Raheem Sterling was replaced by Gabriel Jesus, who played in the same side as Sergio Aguero.

The game is the first since City were handed a two year ban from European competition by UEFA, and manager Pep Guardiola will be asked about the sanctions and appeal for the first time. He did not hold a pre-match press conference having fulfilled his media obligations ahead of the original game.

Man City fans respond to ban with UEFA chants and banners

Manchester City fans sang chants and unveiled banners aimed at UEFA during their Premier League fixture against West Ham at the Etihad Stadium in the wake of their ban from European competitions.

City fans made their feelings clear during the game, unveiling banners in the South Stand before singing chants aimed at the governing body.

The banners read: “UEFA Mafia” and “UEFA Cartel” as well as “F UEFA, love City.”

Shortly after kick-off, fans gave their new chant its debut.

They sang: “We’ll see you in court, we’ll see you in court – f off UEFA, we’ll see you in court! ”
