NIGEL FARAGE’s Brexit Party is the most trusted to represent the interests of the British people, a new poll has indicated.

TheBrexit Partyis “more on the side of the British people” than other political parties , according to new research. Ipsos MORI polled 1, 080 adults between September 27 and 30 and foundNigel Farage‘s party came out top, securing almost one third (31 percent) of the vote. The poll also revealedJeremy Corbyn‘s approach to Brexit is not appealing to voters, with 64 percent dissatisfied with his proposals for leaving the EU.

Pollsters asked: “Who do you think is on the side of the British people?”

The respondents, aged between 18 – 75, then selected from 16 different politicians and

31 percent said the Brexit Party was “more on the side of the B ritish people ”and its leader Nigel Farage also came in third with 29 percent of those polled agreeing.

MPs who want to leave the EU with a deal received the second highest score, at 30 percent.

Pollsters broke down the results based on whether respondents were Remain or Leave voters.

The former largely opted for politicians who want to keep Britain in the EU, such as Jo *** Swinson and the Lib Dems.

Leave voters said they trusted Nigel Farage’s party and MPs who want to leave the EU without a deal to represent the public the most.

The research also found those surveyed had not been won over by Mr Corbyn’s Brexit proposals, as 65 percent said they were dissatisfied by his approach.

Just 23 percent said they were satisfied by the Labor leader’s Brexit proposals.

Boris Johnson came better off, as over one third (36 percent) revealed they were satisfied with his handling of Brexit.

54 percent said they were dissatisfied.

Ipsos MORI also asked: “Who do you think is on the side of the British Establishment?”

Respondents voted overwhelmingly for the Tories 42 percent), with Mr Johnson coming in second.

Remain MPs came in third at (percent.)

Those surveyed were also asked how trusted they thought the Establishment was to put the needs of the British people above its own interests.

Less than one in five (17 percent) said they trusted the Establishment to put the needs of the nation first when it comes to Brexit, “almost always” or “most of the time”.

With a whopping 43 percent saying that when it comes to Britain’s departure from the EU, they trusted the Establishment “almost never”.

When it came to the public’s interests more generally, 18 percent said that the British Establishment puts the interest of the nation above their own interests “almost always” or “most of the time”, and 35 percent said “almost never”.

Ipsos MORI Research Director Keiran Pedley said: “In public opinion terms there is clearly political mileage in attacking the ‘British Establishment’.

“However, politicians that do so should bear in mind that ‘the Establishment’ means different things to
