The Sky Sports pundit said: “You’re always told as a kid, you play to the whistle, every player in the United back four is in the wrong place, but credit to Arsenal, it was a lovely finish, make no mistake.
“There is an obsession about playing from the back but when you lose it with a square pass a lot of your team-mates are out of the game.
“There is nothing wrong with a young kid [Axel Tuanzebe] getting his laces through it. You can not be gifting goals like that. ”

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the Arsenal boss said: “It’s not the best result. In the first half they pressed a lot but we controlled the match with good possession.
“At half-time we spoke about being calm and we tried to find our moment to win the match.
“After our game they improved little by little.They had some chances to score and at the end I think the draw is a deserved result for both teams.
“We can be better defensively and we are going to sometimes need to do more offensively.
“I want more control with the ball, to create better chances. But being competitive against Manchester United here is a good point. ”
