Not an awful lot happening on the pitch at the moment. United don’t look in any danger of conceding but seem to have lot a bit of their attacking verve.
Perhaps happy to settle for 3-0?

KEY EVENT
GOAL! MAN UTD 3-0 PARTIZAN (Rashford, 49)
He’s had his chances, and Rashford deservedly gets his goal with a thumping finish.
Mata sweeps a crossfield ball to Young, he plays a one-touch ball to Rashford and he smashes it first-time into the roof of the net.
Game over
All United possession at the start of the second period but no chances as of yet
SECOND HALF: MAN UTD 2-0 PARTIZAN
Back underway, and the Old Trafford faithful will be hungry for more goals
He’ll be a happy man at half-time
HALF TIME: MAN UTD 2-0 PARTIZAN
United go off to a standing ovation from their supporters.
That was one of the best I’ve seen them play for a long, long time.
OK, the opposition may not be the best, but United have still turned it on and put on a show.
Here’s to more of that in the second half
44
Young is the latest to have a go, flicking the ball over a defender’s head before bending a shot wide of the far post.
This could be any score
************************************
43
United in complete control at the moment, and Rashford has yet another effort at goal from a tight angle but the goalkeeper does well to stand up tall and block it.
That’s Rashford’s fourth shot of the game. Surely he’ll bag at least one by the end of the night
40
Martial’s brilliant solo effort doubled United’s lead
38
This must be one of the most satisfactory halves of the season so far for ***.
They look a threat going forward and are playing slick, fast-paced football.
Now why can’t they do this every week?
Martial should have had another straight away. He is played in by Rashford and is one-on-one, but opts for the chip and the ball flies over the bar.
United are purring now
KEY EVENT
GOAL! MAN U 2-0 PARTIZAN (Martial, 33)
Ohhh that’s Anthony Martial at his very best.
Wonderful, wonderful footwork outside the box as he beats one man with an electric touch, then beats another and squeezes the ball under the keeper from inside the box.
Excellent individual goal from the Frenchman
32
Nasty late tackle on McTominay by Natcho on the halfway line, and it earns him the ga me’s first booking
29
Greenwood’s goal is the difference as we near the half-an-hour mark
27
Martial then goes close with a dipping shot from just outside the box which just
Entertaining game, this.
Not a bad effort at all that from Soumah. He attempts a bending, curling effort which flies just beyond the right post
Greenwood is full of confidence now. He shows off some silky, Zidane-esque skills in the middle of the park to beat two men.
He is clearly enjoying himself tonight
KEY EVENT
GOAL! MAN UTD 1-0 PARTIZAN (Greenwood, 22)
Lovely finish from Mason Greenwood. Rashford turns provider and Greenwood has time on the right to cut inside his defender when he could have taken it first time and he wrong foots the goalkeeper to stick it in at the near right hand post.
A deserved lead for United
19
Natcho had a great opportunity to play in Asano then, but put far too much weight on the through ball. A lighter touch and Partizan would have been in
18
A picture to sum up the opening 17 minutes for Marcus Rashford
